I have a Maytag MGRH865QDW. It has worked fine for years, but now when I set thermostat it'll only heat up to about 210 degrees. I'm assuming it is a thermostat issue, and an easy fix. Your thoughts?

heating elements are usually good or failed with nothing between so unlikely to be the element. problem probably lies with the thermostat. to check, bypass the thermostat and check the oven gets really hot.

Heat pump not keeping up to set temperature on thermostat but never drops below 63 degrees whens its 20 degrees outside.

It may be getting low on refrigerant due to a small leak. I'd have it serviced soon. When running at less than peak efficiency it will much more often switch on the heat strips and they are not cheap to operate.
tip

Thermostat trick

This tip is for 210's 1.4 and 1.5. The original lowest degree temperature thermostat that manual calls for is 180 degree, but living in the southwest with a small 210 4 cyl calls for more cooling techniques. In the summer time I take out the thermostat and run it without it. In the winter time I install a regular GM 350 enginge 160 degree thermostat in my 210. It fits! And you can still run your 210 cool with 160 degrees.

Maytag m6x06f2a like new but doest blow cold air

Make sure the Thermostat is set correctly! The problem with mine was the temp in the house was colder than my A/C lowest thermostat setting.I had my AC temp setting on 66 degrees. The temp in the house was a little lower so the AC didnt kick on just the fan blowing cool air and no compressor working. The next day it was warmer out and the house temp was 79. So when I powered up the AC set at 66 i heard the compressor kick in and the AC worked fine.

I have an Aqualink system, spa set to 104, it will heat to 94 and stay there, temp sensor is working, took water sensor out of line, plugged line, assumed heater would just keep heating, it did heat a

The heater may be wired just fine. The aqualink uses its water temp sensor to call for heat based on what you've set the thermostat to on the aqualink. However, most heaters have built in thermostats that over-ride the aqualink. Those thermostats come factory defaulted not to go over 94. Check your heaters manual on how to adjust the thermostat on the heater. Your heater should have its thermostats set to 104 and the aqualink will control the actual temp of the water by calling for heat based on what you've set the thermostat on the aqualink for. Hope this helps.

Very low heat output. I just changed water pump and thermostat. Engine running below 210 degrees.

Sounds as if your new thermostat is set at a lower operating temp. Assuming your Cooling system is full of Antifreeze and no airpockets present.

Top works fine, bottom no heat, does this unit have seperate heating elements or could it just be the internal fuse

Check your thermostats, all of them. There is a video here that shows you how. You can get any multy-meter or ohm-meter. The multy-meter you set to any ohm setting. When you check the thermostat if nothing happens, the numbers stay in zerro you have a bad thermostat. Is that simple.
