I have a Jensen vx7022 that won't boot up. It's been working fine for 9 months since I installed it. There's a red prgress bar that goes across the screen during start up and then it just stops.

SOURCE: Red bar across top of screen??

I had the same horizontal, solid red bar along the top of the tv screen. I have an older analog Philips Magnavox TP2785C221. It just started all of a sudden. It was on every channel. However, the bar did not appear on the other input channels (e.g., AV1, AV2). So this meant that the red bar was only occurring on the antenna input. I unplugged my cable decoder box and restarted it. The red bar went away and that seemed to solve the problem for now.

SOURCE: acer 7720 will not boot

Do you want to try and see if a 'Linux LiveCD' boots? This is the way I test if the computer works. You burn this CD to a disk, and then boot off of it when you're computer starts. I will not modify anything on your computer as long as you go to 'Try Ubuntu with out installing'

http://www.ubuntu.com/getubuntu/download

Don't worry, I'm not trying to get you to install anything, just see if it boots into the 'live environment' (means you are running it off of the cd) If this works, that means that it is only your windows installation is messed up, and a reinstallation of windows should work fine with a Windows install CD NOT the recovery cd.

SOURCE: 7720 will not boot

off course it is repairable dont worry look try to install OS thru the following procedure to factory default state

Acer: When you first turn on the laptop and see the Acer logo screen, hold the ALT key and press the F10 key (you need to do this before the Acer logo disappears).

if it installs the OS ok then fine if not

pls consider changing RAM take out from beneath the laptop open the cover all screws and take out the L shaped panel then u will see the RAM in front with 2 chips one uper and one lower side try to take out both and then re fit only one in the upper slot and then try to install if hangs again , then try the 2nd chip in the first slot and repeat the procedure if it works ok only try both chips one by one if it resolves ur issue and u find the faulty one replace it with new one with sam specs

in the last case if ur system still hangs then my friend ur hard disk is giving u hard time it needs replacement

when a system boots after bios loading all that is trf from Hdisk to RAM and then OS is loaded if one have problem system will hang or freeze try these solutions and then tell me the results

pls go step by step

and pls rate me fixya if i fixed ur problem

kindly let me know abt it and tell me in detail the messages u get and the system behaviour

SOURCE: When I boot into Windows Vista Premium nothing on screen

In Safe Mode, your monitor will not be listed as it is using a generic device driver for basic display. Go into your video settings and reset it to the lowest resolution available. Reboot the computer into Vista again and your display should be working. If you check Device Manager now, you should see your monitor listed. If it isn't, you will need to load the Vista drivers for it. You can then modify your display settings to suit your preferences.

Jensen vx7022 head unit for car i was updating firmware and it got to the calibration screen and wont go any further no my unit doesn't work at all please help

There is always a chance that you "bricked" the unit with the update. IT happens. When you get to the cross hairs you are supposed to hold your finger in the middle till it asks for the next step. IF it wont go to this, then can you retry the whole process over again. If not you have bricked it and it has to be sent in for reflash

Toshiba Satellite : X205-S9810 won't boot after i installed new hard drives/ used recovery discs. System just keeps running the green bars across the bottom.... installed two 250 gb in place of the 160's...

If you put the old hard drive back in your system and it works fine, log onto Toshiba's web site and download the updated drivers, firmware and BIOS. It is really easy to do.

Windows xp does not recognize optio s 4i

Consider NOT connecting your camera to your computer.

The best way to download pictures from your camera to your computer involves removing the memory card from the camera and plugging it into a card reader (either built-in to the computer or connected via USB or FireWire). This is likely to be faster than connecting the camera to the computer, and won't run down your camera's batteries.

Once the card is plugged in, it will appear to your computer as a removable drive. You can use the operating system's drag&drop facility to copy pictures from the card to the computer's hard drive, the same way you copy any other files. Or you can use ACDSee or any other photo cataloging program.

No sound comming from amp

If it only worked for about a month, then you probably did not get your speaker load right. Check that out before you repair the amp and put it back in. Good luck.
