I put the combo into my safe, and the door wont open, it is an electronic lock.

Have you tried removing the cover (inside the house).. there should be a program button, which you press, enter your code, and press again....don't forget to try your code before actually locking the door...

hi, on mine if you open the door their is a red button press and hold for five seconds, then release put new code in then press again for 5 secs turn thelock to lock position do not close the door, put in the new code and see if it ulocks, if so, bingo, DO NOT CLOSE THE DOOR TILL YOU ARE CERTAIN THE CODE YOU PUT IN WORKS, hope this helps, mine only has a four digit code but i think its the same set up.

I finally ignored the poorly-written instructions for programming a personal code and simply entered the factory code first and then pressed the prog/enter code button.  The safe opened.  The instructions tell you to push the prog/enter code first and then enter the factory code or personal code to open the safe.  Wrong!  Do it my way should this problem happen to you.

Wow , I have the same safe thats been locked for more than a year.
I locked the keys in the safe and forgot the code.
I took the thing out side and droped it on its corner and whala.
