There is an inside leakage in the gauge, replace the gauge or see if you just can replace an o-ring

SOURCE: PROBLEM WITH LOW FLOW/PRESSURE IN GAGGIA COFFEE DELUX COFFEE MAKER

the most likely reason for poor flow through the brewhead is a blockage in the outlet valve.the outlet valve is behind the shower disc holding plate and can be removed with 13mm socket. a straightened paper clip needs to be insrted in the outlet to clear any internal blockage, then pump water through. if the outlet valve splits in two ensure the rubber bung is inserted upwards.once refitted all should be fine

SOURCE: Now water only comes out of one hole in head

The head could be blocked up.
Remove the head via the 2 hex screws, inspect and clean as necessary.

SOURCE: Water (coffee) does not make it out through the

Propably the vibrating water pump is the problem.
It might be full of scale and it can not create any pressure or it is completetly damage and need to be replaced.
First we sugest to perform a descaling of the machine and try again.
Second you should try to reduce by little the quantity of the grounded coffee used. Aprox you should use 7 to7.5 gr of coffee. If you try to use about 6 to 6.5 and you have the coffee runing out from the machine like in 25 sec you have about 30 cc of water. Then try to clean the group shower which it can be ansrew by one cetrer screw and if you can you can open the machine and remove to clean also the coffee group solenoid valve. Bothe the valve and shower can be full of dry coffee that can blocked the way of water coming to the grounded coffee.
If you manage to clean everything above and the machine work ok so from now on in order to avoid the problem again try to flush water from the group many times without any coffee. With this is like you wash the group shower and valve from any remai coffee.
Good luck

Testimonial: "Brilliant, I cleaned the shower head as you instructed and it's working perfect, thanks for the tips. Louise"

SOURCE: There isn't enough pressure to pump water through the coffee

Chalk in the system, let it run a couple of times with plain vinegar. just fill the machine with about half a liter (one water container) vinegar and collect the vinegar in a cup so you can reuse it. run the full 0.5 liter, wait an hour and repeat. Than run 2 full watercontainers plain water. should work again. Cheaper than antichalk fluid and works the same

My pressure gauge never moves... do you have to set it up? if so how.. if not when should it work??

Yes, the pressure gauge most definitely should move. The only reason it wouldn't move, assuming no fault, is if there is no resistance for the water between the pump and the outside world, which would be theoretically possible only if your coffee wasn't ground fine enough, or wasn't tamped at all. FYI, the pressure gauge on mine normally ends up at around 1/3rd to 1/2 way around the dial, depending on factors such as grind, tamping, freshness of beans, and whether I use the standard pressurized (dual-wall) basket, or one of the older non-pressurized (singe-wall) baskets.

Failing these obvious issues, you probably have a faulty or disconnected gauge. But how's the coffee?

Water dripping from my boiler/dispensing pressure gauge

If it is leaking from the gauge then have it replaced ASAP. It is easy to replace, just make sure machine is turned off and cooled and water is turned off.

Lower gauge that monitoring pump always shows 4 no matter what. The upper gauge that monitors steamer works normal. As recommended in the user manual, I adjusted screws located near the pump but no...

The gauge is connected with pump water output with a very thin pipe called cappilary pipe. So if any dirt that is comming from the water supply can blocked this cappilary pipe and if this happens during the pressuring phase then blocked a pressure of 4 bar inside the gauge. So if you desconect the cappilary pipe behind the gause the you should see if any water comes out from cappilary pipe. If not you can remove it also from the side of the water pump and try to clean it by blowing air from the side connected to gauge this can clean it perfectly. The you can conect it back together. The you will read normaly the pressure of the water mains and during making easpresso pressure of about 9 bars. If you dont have any change in the gauge after performing above the gauge might be the problem.

Rancilio silvia

If your machine is recent it is a v3 which comes with an adhustable over pressure valve. It is possible to test the pressure (without the expense of a gauge) be using the balnking disc and measuring flow with a measuring jug (or scales) and a watch. check the make of pump and google for it - the Rancilio site also has the data flow rates for the pumps used. If you get the correct flow rate - the machine is fine and it comes down to grind and tamp... the stuff of alt.coffee and countless forums. Also have your freind use his coffee in your machine and see if he gets different results to you.

My kitchenaid artisan coffee machine not enough water

if you have water out brewing without handle with coffee, than you check this 3 things:
  1. how fine is grinded the coffe, is it too fine for your machine?
  2. does pump make enough pressure to brew your coffee(you can measure if you attach an gauge to handle or steam pipe.
  3. by any chance your boiler security valve opens too soon and dont let pump to get the needed pressure. (perfect pressure is from 7 to 9 bar)
