I got a thorn TV and Jae tried every way others have true but am not making any progress does any one have the same brand TV and remote that has managed to get it to work ?

I have had this happen on universal air conditioner remotes as well. Try looking on the website for Thorn remotes and universal remotes that will work on a Thorn. Thorn used to be AWA. You could try that as well.

The brand of the HDMI cable makes no difference as they are all essentially the same. You will have no issues using a JAE branded cable on your Blu-Ray player.
