A capacitor on the power supply board of my television completely burnt out and so I cannot read the value of the capacitor to replace it. It is labelled CP820 on the power supply board. I know exactly which capacitor is the problem (a high voltage ceramic capacitor with the blue tops) but the blue plastic has melted so I can't read the value of the capacitor itself
You can tell by the top of them, when there bad they bulge ( as if there going to pop )
It's not one of the those, it is a high voltage ceramic capacitor (one of the ones with the blue plastic tops). It completely burnt out (it was smoking) and so the blue plastic has melted off and I can't identify the value of it to buy a replacement
It's not one of those. It's a high voltage ceramic capacitor that's the culprit (the ones with the blue plastic top). It completely fried (was literally smoking) and so the blue plastic top is melted so I can't tell the value of the capacitor to replace it and hopefully fix the problem without having to buy a new board
sorry my mistake,i found an old listing on ebay with a photo of the board,im able to zoom in by hovering the mouse, mabe this will help ?

Close! The writing on the capacitor is on it's side, so I can't see it from a photo taken from above. I'm hoping someone has one that would take a look for me
ahh ok,sorry about that
Here's a pic of the one I need
i see your problem now,the only thing i can suggest is to keep an eye on ebay for some one selling the same board and ask them if they could give you the number from it.sorry i cant be more helpfull
No worries, thanks for trying! I've sent out a couple of messages to those selling the board. Fingers crossed one of them is willing to help!
