PICTURE IN RIGHT SIDE 20% OF SCREEN ONLY IN CENTER OF THE RIGHT SIDE TV WAS BOUGHT USED . LINES ARE DIFFERENT COLORS AND 2 TO 3 INCHES WIDE . ANY HELP WOULD BE APPRECIATED , THANK YOU

PiP or bad connection. disconnect the set with all cables and reconnect and see what happens

This sounds like one of the driver boards at the bottom or top of the screen has an intermittent fault. The set will have to be taken in to a service centre.

hi all .ive had the same problem,a thick black line down screen.sometimes it flickers from top to bottom and other permantly in view.but i have solved it.forget your ic boards and taking apart tv.have you got either a ps3 or wii connected to tv.if so unplug power lead from socket and relocate in seperate socket.make sure the lead is completely free of any other leads and you might just find this works.i think the power lead creates some sort of frequency that the tv picks up .good luck hope it works

Either LCD transistor got moist or the video chipset got condensation. Keep TV on standby to dry it out. Unless there is also mechanical damage to the lcd screen on the edge..
