Battery charger indicates charge however bike does not charge. The batteries are also replaced.

If your bike works when you have the charger connected but doesn't whith the charger disconnected and just the battery then your battery is not charged or you have a bad connection between the battery and ebike.
If the battery charger is showing green then it normally means that charging has stopped charging and there is no current flow to battery. This could be because the battery is fully charged, OR there is an open circuit (broken wire, etc.) between the charger and battery, OR your battery is so flat the voltage is below the low voltage cut-off point of the charger so the charger is not switching on.
You need to check the voltage out of your battery and compare it to the LVC of your charger (should be specified in the user manual), but from what you have described I'd say you need to replace your battery.

check voltage with a multimeter set on volts before trying to trottle and then after you trottle it should close to the same voltage. If not then you need to replace battery.

To charge battery, use a trickle charger at 2 amp. Batteries usually only last about 3 years, so if battery is at that age it probably needs replaced. (Replaced my battery with a lawn mower battery that matched the original battery size.) I would try to get a charge on the battery before replacing it. Replacing the battery could be expensive. Battery could also be low on zinc, water, or acid.

Yes, it means the charger is not working. The light is the charge indicator and is red while charging.

At 55 amps you could charge the batteries on the space shuttle. A 2 amp charger is plenty. You cooked the three year old battery so a new one will be needed. Get the new battery then worry about the fuses only if the bike is still dead. The fuses are under the battery side cover if I recall correctly. Look under the seat if not by the battery.

I've been taught to disconnect the battery when charging with a mains type charger. But I'm increasingly seeing the likes of the Oxford maximiser etc which come with a plug and flying lead to screw to the battery to save disconnecting. Anyone know the rights and wrongs of battery charging? Having replaced the batteries on all three bikes this year I'm taking a sudden interest.The new chargers also monitor the battery. They are designed to trickle charge when needed not to recharge from flat. The old type chargers charged at a much higher ampage and could build up an explosive mixture unless the caps were off. With them the battery should be out of the bike never in a confined space. The new ones charge at a much lower ampage, you don't need to take the caps off, or take the battery out. I plug one in every time I garage the bike, it keeps the battery in top condition and extends it's life. The battery in my Jackal is the original, now 6 years old and still good.,,,

with the lights on for well over a week. (in my locked garage incase your wondering why I still have a bike) Needless to say the battery is dead. It's been on a trickle charger since Sunday afternoon (now Tuesday afternoon) and it still indicates charging. We did try it in the bike anyways and no go. Do you think I killed it? The dealership told me it might take a good 2-3 days to charge it back up if I didn't kill it. The battery is 3 months old.... should I just go out a buy a new battery at this point? Ahhh....lessons learned the hard way. Slap a trickle charger with a float on it and see what happens. No way to find out how bad it is until you try to fix it. And draining then charging a battery is one of the worst things you can do to it. Personally, I couldn't stand not riding for 3 days, so I'd buy a new battery anyways. But that's just me.,,,

it is not your battery that is the problem but the charger so you will need to go somewere like officemax and buy a universal charger and if you still have problems then call HP tech support there friendly people
