We have a maytag top load washing machine model LAT9604 that has leaked all the water out the bottom, any ideas to what it could be besides the hoses? Thanks
Hi, the actual drain pump may have a crack on the housing. i would
inspect this possible issue just to confirm that the pump structure if
well.
Secondly, there may be a slight rupture in the tub seal. you will need
to disassemble the tub to get a good look at this possible leak point.
this is an uncommon area for leakage but, it is possible that the water
is leaking from this area.
Last, i would check the water inlet valves for cracks. this is another
uncommon issue but, its worth checking during the inspection.
