Do you have the meat drawer damper fully open. This will cause everything to freeze.

SOURCE: Food is defrosting in my hotpoint frost free fridge/freezer

Can you hear the compressor running? Is the fan inside the freezer running? It could be that a wire connection has come loose during the move. Was the fridge laid on it's side during the move? If so you probably have compressor oil restricting the refrigerant system. If compressor and fan are running you will probably need a qualified refrigeration tech to check it out.

Your condenser where the heat is removed from the refrigeration system may be plugged with dust. The condenser is more than likely located in back of the refrigerator behind a removable panel. Remove the panel and clean it out. Reinstall the panel after you have cleaned the condenser.

Check the back wall of the freezer for frost buildup. If there is frost buildup on the back wall it indicates that there is a problem in the defrost circuit.

SOURCE: freezer not freezing food and fridge not staying cold enough

Check the compressor with a volt meter, if the compressor is getting proper voltage then check the relay. But this sounds like a problem with the compressor

I have a hotpoint freezer fza34 The red high temp

it could be that your fridge, freezer setting is not turned up high enough to keep the freezer cold enough.turn it up to setting number 5 at least and if that dont do it u could have a faulty thermostat.have it checked by a engineer.

GE Model: GTS22KHPARBB Rerigator not working freezer working.

Look in the fresh food section (Fridge) and see if the cooling fan that blows cold air from the freezer is running, when the door switch is held closed, you might be able to feel and/or hear it while looking up at the "roof" of the fridge section.. Also, check the freezer section to make certain that you don't have food or boxes of frozen items blocking the vent that allows cold air to go from freezer into the fridge. Sometimes this is nothing more than an overstuffed freezer, which can lead to poor air circulation between the freezer and fridge. Another common problem is that when a overstuffed freezer section stays "stuffed" for a long time, (3-4 weeks), the air flow channel between the 2 sections can become frozen solid, thus preventing any air circulation. The fastest way to check for this and attempt to resolve this is to empty the entire fridge and freezer (into a ice chest/cooler, etc.) and allow the unit to defrost completely, but unplugging it and allowing both doors to stay open. Get some towels ready and wait at least 3-4 hours for a complete manual defrosting to occur. Good time to give the unit a cleaning while you're at it!

When done, close the doors and plug it back in and see if the freezer and fridge get to the proper temperature. You might want to reset the temperature controls to the factory defaults as sometimes people keep lowering the temp control trying to get things colder than they need to be.

Haier fridge- freezer fine, fridge not getting cold. cooling fan for fridge not coming on

The small cooling fan in the freezer compartment that sends chilled air to the food side is defective and needs replacement.  Sometimes that are only frozen stuck.

When you receive advice from this website you have to understand that without the item in front of us, we are only able to provide "a best guess" as to what the problem might be based on you description of the defect.  If you haven't described a clear and precise description of the defect you decrease the chances of an accurate reply.  Thank you.

Refrigerator won't get cold

You likely have a defrost cycle failure. The freezer's cooling coils need to be frosty and cold so the air that the fan pulls over them can cool the fridge section. If the defrost cycle fails, the coils freeze up to a block of ice and air flow suffers (fridge is about 55 degrees F). The freezer stays cold only because there's a block of ice in there now... sometimes that cold "sinks" to the bottom and only the food at the bottom stays frozen (and can even freeze food at the bottom of the fridge compartment while the rest is warm). To be sure, you'll need to take the rear interior panel off the freezer back wall and check the coils to see if they are frozen solid. If they are then there's a defrost cycle failure. If they are showing a nice white frosty pattern evenly all over the coils then that's normal and maybe the evap fan (right above the coils) is not blowing air up properly or is not working at all. That fan should run if the compressor is running, etc. the only time it doesn't run is during an actual defrost cycle. Once you find out what condition the coils are in it should be simple to direct you further on the problem.
