you must have a front load washer and the leaking from the detergent drawer is that the drawer is clogged take it out and apart in your kitchen sink with hot water that should do it

Sorry to tell you this but this machine probably has a hole in the tub (the plastic part). The basket (the part you refer to) is fine, but to replace the tub, it isn't economical. You will probably have to get another machine.

i had same prob. at my daughters house, similar model. first time a hose popped off the top(i removed the lid), later i noticed leaks because my son in law was using oxy clean and it foamed over. my advice is, put machine on its side and look for loose/popped off hoses, dont use too much soap or additives, which will trick the water level sensor or just pour over that little drum

Sounds like your drain hose isn't connected properly to the machine. Look for the base of the hose and see if there's something you can do.

Most portable washer come with a adapter for the sink so you can hook the fill and drain to the sink. There are some models that only hook the fill hose to the sink and the drain is a seperet hose you hang into a sink. If the unit is new the adapter should have been included with it. If it was used you can get the part at any hardware store or appliance parts dealer. Good luck
