How to fix errore code 0501 ? - Konica Minolta Bizhub 42 Laser Copier / Printer / Scanner

• Code: 0501
• Description: Fusing heaters trouble (edge)
  • Detected temperature of the heating roller thermistor (TH2; edge) does not go up a given range of temperature even after a lapse of given period of time at warm up. • The warm-up is not completed even after the set period of time has elapsed after the warm-up is started.
• Remedy: 1 Check the fusing unit for correct installation (whether it is secured in position). 2 Check the open/close operation of the right door. 3 Check the fusing unit CN30-PRCB CN16, fusing unit-relay CN4AC-DCPU CN2 for proper connection and correct or change as necessary. 4 Change fusing unit 5 Change PRCB 6 Change DCPU

This is from manual, try to reset trouble code:
1-Turn the machine "OFF".
2-Press the "STOP" button on the basic panel.
3-Keep the button pressed and turn the machine "ON".
4-Do not release the button, until the machine warm up.
5-After few seconds Error code will remove and machine will reset.Basic menu will show no error on LCD screen.This means error code has been removed and photocopier machine is ready to use.

i dont envy your job if its not a speed sensor replacement. if it is a broken wire you are going to have to take apart the entire wire harness looking for it.

Go to the Océ Knowledge Base (http://global.oce.com/Support/Default.aspx#tab2) and search on "TDS100 error code 0501".

something has gone wrong with the developer/toner section. Call for service, these are not user fixable.

1)0501 is low toner concentration problem
fill new toner and then off and on main switch many time
2)check toner motor.

Well, error 0501 is low toner concentration problem
fill new toner and then off and on main switch many time, if the problem persists then you need to check the toner motor.
