If your camera does not operate as you expect, just switch it off, remove the battery for a few moments and replace the battery. Then switch on again.
If you (accidentally) touched the lens barrel, while using the zoom, the camera can act strange, because it tries to protect the hardware for extra damage.
If switching of and on again, does not solve the problem, you should contact a certified Samsung repair centre.
This is normal. If you hold the zoom for an extended time the lens is slower than the indicated zoom. Forcing the lens to continue to its zoomed direction.
The Samsung ES90 only has about 37MB of built-in memory. The state of the battery has no effect on this. If you want to take more photos then you can either make them smaller, or better yet, add a memory card.
When I turn on the camera it says "The zoom did not operate normally, insert the battery again and turn the camera on..."
i reset my cammera but problem still please guide me
Hi had this problem with my WB100. Zoom would come out then pop back in and say zoom nit not operate normally, please put new batteries in and try again or contact bla bla. What i did when the zoom popped out is i held onto it and didnt let it retract back and turned it back on. It worked after that so i guess the zoom must of been a little forced in when it was in use last in when turned on it wasnt fully going forward. Worked for me so worth a shot
