My washing machine is locked and this is the first time this has happened since i have owned it i can not figure out how to unlock it?

i think its a blocked up waste outlet
or the pump is blocked up

you need to check the machine is draining correctly and in a timely manner.,..
or it will fail
you need to fully drain the machine then turn off the mains
wait 5 mins and the door will then open
then check the drainage...

The error F26 does indicate a fault in the door switch circuit. See the image below for a complete listing of what can cause this error. There is a door unlock error that would display if the door is not locking or unlocking but the F26 means the control is not seeing the door switch open and close. One thing to try first before scheduling service or replacing the part is to check the connections on the door switch.
Unplug the washer first and remove the lower access panel and reach up to the door lock and try to feel for the connections and make sure they're tight.

Holding down the Start button for over 5 seconds turns the child lock

The control board needs to be replaced.

That is CHILD LOCK...Just press at the same time buttons from the lest and right of the child picture and hold it for a little time and it will unlock..

The same thing happens with my dishwasher. I have made it work by doing the following. When you start up the cycle, turn the dial to just a tick before "start." If you hear the buzzing, but no water is running, unlock and then lock the dishwasher door again. This usually gets it running. If it's still not running water, unlock, advance the dial a little bit, and lock again. This should work. You need to be around for the early parts of the dishwashing cycle because this machine tends to stop up and buzz without running water until it gets past "short wash." Every time this happens, do the same thing, unlock and lock, and advance the dial a little when necessary. Once you get past "short wash," it should complete the wash without intervention.

in the soap disp drawer the is a manual release to get the door open
