"... dependencies checking has failed" implies that the update program is looking for something from the old firmware or on the hard drive that it needs to run. Run the test page that displays printer information; it should tell you what firmware version is on the formatting board. It may already be the latest version, which would fail the test of having a previous version number. If that is not it, try updating with a firmware version just after the one on the replacement formatting board, then update to a more recent version.

Easiest way to update firmware on this model will be to download the easy firmware update, connect a computer direct with a usb cable and then run the firmware update after the computer finishes installing the printer.

That is odd to say the least---rarely any problem in that area---are you using a cable or sat box or have a receiver in line?

The set may have a hard reset (not the one in the menu) that would resolve this--a phone call to Toshiba would answer this?

I would if a box or receiver in line look there for a CC setting and also unplug those for a while and plug back to let them reboot.

If you call Toshiba and do not like the answer ask to speak not to a service rep but a technician.

I assume that you have set the input source selction as in Page 32 and HDMI 1 is solid and and not grayed out. If so check the Preferences menu and see if there is an option for power on set up.
Also look at page 51 about HDMI feature settings. I assume you turn the cable box on first before turning the TV on.

There is an issue with the audio processor. Most likely it is the main board needs to be replaced in order to fix the issue. You will need to remove the back cover in order to get access to it.

There could also be an issue with the power supply supplying the right voltage to the processor. This can be checked by seeing if the 18V DC is present at pins 3 and 4 of CN90 on the power supply. If the voltage is present, then replace the main board. If it is not, replace the power supply.
