I dont know why you want to reset it. Just connect it and it should be good to go, Still if you want to reset it then take off the front panel and behind it i am sure you will find the reset button.

usually one uses a power cycle in order to reset the radio. If the radio is not coming on, the wires powering it could be bad so you'd want to check them with a multimeter for current. Then, you'd want to test the car battery to see if it's still powerful enough to support all of the devices in your car. Then you can get the radio checked.
When you disconnect your battery and then reconnect it again, it disables the radio. This is an anti-theft protection for your car radio. The enable your radio the activation code is in your vehicle owner's manual. If you do not have this code you need to go to your vehicle manufacturer's service centre and get them to enter this code for you.
There is no code for resetting a radio. If there is not reset switch, you can reset a radio by disconnecting power to it for a few seconds. This can be done by either disconnecting the wire harness behind the radio, or if you don't know how to get the radio out of the dash, you can disconnect one of the terminals of the battery for a few seconds.
Try entering code "5415" with your remote to unlock this radio. Or you can reset your
unit by reset button. download XAV-62BT manual from here and refer to
the Page 14 for reset instructions and Page 10 for reset button location
on unit. http://www.docs.sony.com/release/XAV60_EN_FR_ES.pdf
if this radio has a removable face check connectors behind face,..if so clean these with Qtips/alcohol. and make sure its seated correctly. If it dont then try to locate main radio fuse and remove fuse to reset radio.some radios have a reset on the front panel..
IF IT'S A FIAT BRAVA ORIGINAL CAR RADIO WITH A SONY CHANGER IT WILL HAVE AN INTERFACE BEHIND THE RADIO WHICH MAY NEED RESETTING IF YOU DISCONNECT THE INTERFACE POWER FOR 2 MINS AND RECONNECT IT FAILING THAT THE SONY 6 DISC WILL BE JAMMED, WHICH IS COMMON
