Cant find filter

Nothing comes up on the Avon website concerning a humidifier, so most likely it has been discontinued. Couple of things you can try.

Most likely you will not get any usable answers from their customer service, so,

Second, I would try locating an appliance repair shop in your area. It's possible that this unit was manufactured for Avon by a manufacturer still in business and the filters are still available under their name.

If not, it's still possible to buy filter material and "make" a filter that will work (after all, it's just foam, cut into a specific thickness, density, length and width). This is were a local appliance repairman could be valuable. They can be very creative. Good luck,

Hello,It sounds like you need to clean the unit from scaling and debris to increase the output capacity. There should be a removable filter as well that will need to be replaced if it is in bad enough condition, it uses a "MAF-2" filter. Here is a product brochure.

did you check the floats inside. there are 2 of them, 1 alows the solenoid to open the other shuts off elements on low water

Fuel travels from the gas tank in the rear via the pump located in the tank. The fuel line travels under the driver's side of the car up into the engine bay, then enters the fuel filter, which is located on top of the driver's front fender in the engine bay. It's about the size of the bottom of a beer can and then the fuel heads on into the injection system on the engine.

The furnace model is irrelevant. The important question is usually the dimensions of the opening for the filters. The most common sizes are 16"x25"x1", 20"x25"x1", 16x25x5, etcetera. There are exceptions such as specialty filters like electronic ones. I suggest using inexpensive pleated filters but you could just use filters that you cut to fit instead. Have a helpful gasfitter assist you if necessary.

How to clean your filter:
The PermaWick™ Filter should be cleaned in a vinegar and water solution to remove any mineral buildup. Place in a solution of one (1) gallon of water and eight (8) ounces of undiluted white vinegar. Allow the filter to soak for 20 minutes.
After soaking, rinse it several times with clean water. Place the PermaWick™ Filter in a location where it can drip dry while you clean the other parts of your humidifier.

They say the frequency that you will have to clean your filter depends on yoru quality of water. The harder the water you have the more you will have to clean it.

There are 2 filters on each side. They are simply stood up right in the tank and the Black Circular fan shields rest on top of them to keep them in place.

The filter should be located below the tank. the tank should lift off of the unit and there should be a rectangular cavity where the filter fits. You will most likely find the old filter dried up and filled with a white crust. That is salt and other minerals in the tap water that the filter catches.
