One of the drive gears has stripped its teeth, usually caused by overloading the machine. These are personal shredders and parts are not available in my experience.Sorry.

you can try the manufacturers web page for spares but generally if it need parts , it will be too costly to repair so consider junking it and getting a new one

Blades do not rotate, motor runs

Something is stripped. Most shredders are gear driven from the motor to the driver shaft and onto the driven shaft. Check that the motor has not come loose from its mountings, the drive gear has not come off the motor or the gear has stripped. You will have to split the shredder housings to do this.

You shredder needs a new shredding head. I'm sorry to say. You will be better off getting a new shredder. I am a senior level shredder technician in CO. I have seen this problem many times and it is an expensive repair. Hope this helps. If you have further questions please respond.
