My Okidata 320 microline print cartridge is leaking ink. What does this mean?

The Okidata Microline 320 uses a ribbon. If it smears, just back the tension lever off until it goes away. Smearing will happen with multi-part forms unless you back off the printhead.

Microline 320Turbo 9pin

The problem your having is with the carriage assembly. You'll need to remove the ribbon and printhead. It's the black piece under them. Here's a link to a replacement part for $38.95.

MY PRINTERS KEEPS PRINTING OVER TOP OF ITS SELF

Hi amyellis, please click on this link below which will take you to okidata ML320Turbo's page. http://my.okidata.com/PP-ML320Turbo.nsf?
Download the pdf manual for you're ML320Turbo.
For English click here: http://my.okidata.com/mandown.nsf/1fe7d58578ca7f99852569af0042834b/e08d475cb4b6bf4a852569590039ffc6/$FILE/ae320tug_07.pdf
Once opened click the + sign next to Index. Than click the + sign next to Paper. Than click the + sign next to Paper jams. Follow the instructions to clean out paper build up within the printer. This is the most likely reason the paper is not moving.
Within the pdf file in the upper left hand corner is a small icon that looks like a gray floppy diskette. Click it & save the manual to you'r PC drive. You may need it from time to time.

Good Luck!

Printing jibberish

Hello babytenbucks,
I can help you setup your Okidata 320 printer.
Connect the printer to the printer port coming off the motherboard. Usually it's colored pink. Also known as LPT1.
If your operating system is Win XP do this. Open Control panel, open Printer & Faxes. Click File, Add new printer.
Uncheck, automatically detect & install my plug & play printer.
Click Next. Allow it to use LPT1. Click next.
There are two windows here. On the left is Manufacture on the right is Printers. Scroll through Manufacture till you find
Okidata. Under Printer, scroll down till you see Okidata ML 320 Turbo/D (IBM), click next. You can give it a new name or leave it as is. Make the 320 the default printer. You can let it print a test page. Either way re-start the system. Try another test page.
Click the link below for a .pdf file which is the manual for your
Okidata 320 Turbo.
