I get this problem sometimes. The quick answer is to put a large 'bulldog clip' around the stack of paper, and feed in one sheet by hand. When the sheet is almost printed feed in the next sheet.
The long term solution often is to service the 'rubber' paper feeds that get covered in dust. Use a damp cloth and press against one roller at a time, rotating a bit at a time. Not as easy as it sounds!
Then use a bit of fine 'sand' paper to remove the shiny surface on the roller(s) and wipe clean again.
At the exit of the printer, there is the fuser unit (heating roller, which heats the paper to fuse the toner on to the paper. The fuser (heater) is covered with the Teflon sheet Sleeve. So that the paper is never directly in contact with the heater and heat is transferred through Teflon sleeve. I have noticed Paper Jam at the outer paper bin in case of damaged Teflon sleeve. A very clear indication of broken Teflon is that there is a loud cracking noise, when the printer initializes (printer power on) or while printing a page. Secondly, the toner fails to fuse properly to the paper and gets erased when rubbed. You may use a torch to inspect it as well. Secondly, inspect the paper path for any obstructions. There may be a torn piece of paper. Inspect the gears and roller from the input tray to the paper exit point and look for any stuck roller. So, it is recommended that make sure that the Teflon Sleeve is OK and there is no obstruction in the paper exit path.
Hope it helps! Good Luck! Thanks for using Fixya! CreativeTECH
sir ihave printing problem when i print a page on the left & right side margin impression faded please assist me how to solve this problem regards KULDEEP SINGH BISHT
Hello, The problem you are having is caused by the fuser. The fuser is the part in the printer that heats up and basically melts ( fuses) the toner to the page. The fuser has a heat roller that is coated with teflon, your fuser coating has worn off in spots so the toner is sticking to the roller and causing the ghost image. You will need to order a replacement fuser. You can do a search on Google to find a replacement, the parts number is RM1-1082.
I hope this helps, if so please rate our solution.
Satin is a slippery fabric besides being thin, this is when a walking foot or PFAFF's IDT system help feed both top and bottom sheets. You could also be using a sharp needle vs a ballpoint. Change your presser feet with either a roller or teflon coated.
