No power when i press button...led fashes 8 times

On that particular model you need to press the power button nine additional times waiting for the light to Blink 9 times each and then after the 9th time the procedure is as follows... sound like you charger is broken, i think tose use the same charger as the compaq presarios, evo's if you can get a used 65 wat that problem would have been fixed, but those are still pretty new, i think you can get a new charger for free if it's still under warranty

i have a Compaq nc6320 when i plug in the power cord the electricity led doesn't want to turn on i have changed the cords and the adapters and i doesn't power on or even charge the battery, did any one have an idea what to do in this problem?

Remove you battery and disconnect power supply. Press power on a couple of times. reconnect power supply but leave out battery. Press power on. Hopefully machine will boot now.
