How do I reset the picture on my LCD TV to the factory settings? The P.Mode button on the remote of your LCD TV lets you cycle through four factory preset picture modes: Dynamic, Standard, Movie, and Custom. To return the picture on your TV to the original factory preset, press the P.Mode button on your remote until the TV displays the Standard mode.
please follow this step: you have customized the picture and menu settings on your Samsung TV
only to find that they keep reverting back to their default positions,
this is because your unit is in what is referred to as "Shop Mode." This
is the demonstration mode used by electronic retailers to show
potential buyers all the features a Samsung television supports. Press
the "Info" button on your remote control, and if under the "Picture
Mode" heading it reads "Shop Mode," hold down the "Menu" button on the
TV itself until the screen reads "Dynamic Mode." This has changed the
picture mode to one of the pre-set positions. You may now change any
settings you'd like. God bless you
The problem may be not in your TV but in your receiver, if you use a cable or satellite receiver. Sometimes those also have similar settings for picture mode - it's rare, but I've seen it.
If not, then it must be tv's zoom mode is just set to something other than "standard".
Your TV is on display mode!! The problems that you are having I had with my new TV.. Call Samsung or go online to their website and it will tell you exactly how to fix that small problem. As for the blue light, just go to setup and under light effect you will be able to choose when you want the light to come on.. I hope this is helpful...
Your TV is in DEMO-STORE MODE. Go to menu, find Plug & Play option, start it, and when asked, select Home Mode, than Enter and than just Exit. :-) Enjoy Your TV!
You want to receive the optical signal from the TV's built in decoder / receiver to play through your Kenwood? Maybe you need to select the digital input. The manual says:
Use the INPUT SELECTOR key (or Input Selector keys) to select DVD, VIDEO or FRONT AUX.
2 Press the INPUT MODE key. Each press switches the setting as follows:
1 "F-AUTO": Auto detect ("AUTO DETECT" indicator lights up)
2 "D-MANUAL": Fixed to digital input ("DIGITAL" indicator lights up)
3 "ANALOG": Fixed to analog input * ("AUTO DETECT", "DIGITAL" indicator goes off)
Also check your TV to make sure it is outputting to the optical jack.
