Heartland metro f2 error code

bad sensor or bad computer board or clock assy.read out the sensor and find the tech sheet for your stove and it will tell you what the sensor should read out on,if the sensor is good then you have a bad computer board or clock assy.you can look up the error codes on the tech sheet too, look on the back of the stove, the papers are usually there on the back of the top console.F2 Oven temperature is too high 1. Look for welded relay contacts on bake or broil relays. If this happens, replace oven control (also called clock or ERC).
2. For SELF CLEAN models: check door lock operation.
3. Look for a high resistance connection or any other cause of high resistance in the oven temperature sensor circuit. Check sensor, sensor harness and sensor harness connection at sensor and oven control. Replace sensor if found defective.

Remember: Oven control (ERC) measures resistance of sensor circuit, not actual oven temperature

My oven does not heat up. Everything else on the stove works (top burners, clock, timer, ect.) When you turn the oven dial, it even clicks as if it were to start the oven.

Water spilled down the stove top causing the oven

ater spilled (4-5 cups) on the stove top running down into the stove control panel face (where you view oven temp, timer, etc). No water ever dripped into the oven or oven window. The stove top still works but the oven, warming drawer, clock are all non responsive after three days. No buttons on the control panel work at all. What repair is needed?

My GE Oven heating element and timer clock went

Try unplugging the oven and let sit for 10 min. This will reset the curcuit board and reboot the electronics. You may have to pull out the stove o get to the cord.

Oven display and oven are not working AT ALL

Most electric range ovens are controlled by the electronic oven control (EOC). If your oven is not working and there is no display on the clock, more than likely you have a bad EOC. The board is not serviceable and has to be replaced. I hope this helps.
