My Amana stove had the same symptom. I repaired the EOC myself. I have twenty years in comsumer electrics repair. The problem was that three small capacitors were getting weak and needed to be replaced. The parts were $1.50. Sending to a place in Texas that rebuilds EOCs would have cost over $100. New clock units are over $200. If you have a friendly local repair shop, they may be able to replace the bad capacitors. If you can't get the clock removed from the stove, you may need to call someone for some help.

Most electric range ovens are controlled by the electronic oven control (EOC). If your oven is not working and there is no display on the clock, more than likely you have a bad EOC. The board is not serviceable and has to be replaced. I hope this helps.

Range/Stove/Oven Repair - Replacing the Clock Timer (Frigidaire Part .... My timer still works fine, but ...
Normally, there is a master switch on the wall near the oven. This is in turn is usually fed from its own fuse/breaker on the consumer unit. I suspect this has bblown.
if its an electric start. then the problem is usually the ignitor for oven. if you change this yourself, be carefull they are very fragil. hold on to igniter by its base. slide ignitor into steel case then install. and hook up the 2 wires for ignitor.
If it's a Whirlpool or Kenmore oven (or one of several other brands that are made by Whirlpool) then this error code means:
F1 - E1 Safety flip flop Replace Electronic Range Control/Clock (ERC)
The system believes that the control board has failed and needs to be replaced.
This page has a list of diagnostic codes by brand and model number. You should check there to look up your particular brand to confirm what I just said.
Open the control panel to expose the clock/oven control.
With a volt meter verify incoming voltage to the clock control.
Check all wires for good contact.
If it still does not work replace the clock.
Remember to unplug the range to check the wires for good contact.
you most likely have a bad oven ignitor...if you see an orange glow under the oven panel that is your ignitor trying to come on....but if it is weak it will not open the gas valve.....acess the ignitor and replace it
