SOMETIMES I CAN PRINT, SOMETIMES I CANNOT PRINT. BUT THOSE PRINTING THAT I DID WERE ONLY TRIAL. AND THEN, IN ANOTHER CASE, IT ALSO SAYS THAT IT'S HAVING PROBLEM CUMUNICATING WITH THE PRINTER BEFORE ALL THOSE TRIALS I MADE. THEN WHEN I DO ANOTHER TRIAL, IT SHOWS IN THERE THAT THE PRINTING HAS ALREADY STARTED, AND THEN STOP AT 50PERCENT OR 99 PERCENT OR 33 PERCENT. ANYBODY CAN HELP ME WITH THIS PLEASE. THANKS A LOT.

There were times that the printer would give you that message. In order for the computer to properly recognize the printer, here's what you are going to do:
1. Remove the cartridge from the printer. 2. Turn the printer off and unplug it from the wall outlet. 3. Put the cartridge back while the printer is off. 4. Give for about 2 minutes. 5. Turn the printer back on.

Check to make sure you don't have the printer installed more than once. If you do, it confuses the computer and confuses you. Click Start/Control Panel or Start/Settings/Control Panel and look for Printers. Open the printer and check to see if you have the same printer listed more than once. If so only one printer can be active or online and your might be printing to the one that is not active or online. Right Click on the duplicate printer and select delete.
Also look at the bottom right near the time and see if you see the printer icon. If so, open it and delete or cancel all the print jobs that are in the queue waiting to print.

If you see that you have the same printer installed more than once you need to delete the others by Right Clicking on it and select Delete. You probably printed to the one that is not active or online since only one can be at that status.

If that's not the problem you have a driver issue.
Get
online
and got to www.google.com In the google search box type: "HP Support"
(without the quotes and put your manufacturer name before Support).
Look for downloads and drivers. Enter your model number and operating
system when requested. Download and install the Printer drivers.
to get to the root cause of the problem . you can try printing from the notepad and check it prints fine from the notepad . if it prints fyn then there can be some issues with the software compatibility.. which version you have for microsoft office.
I would recommend uninstalling the installed driver from your system, disconnect the USB cable (if one is installed), reboot.
Once the system comes back up, turn off your anti-virus. Now install the printer driver again. Install the USB cable for the printer (if that's how you're connecting) and finish the install.
Don
It sounds like software and not the printer itself.
Go to add and remove programs in Control panel and remove the printer software.
Then re install it and it should work fine
Let me know how you get on
Fred
There's a blue protective strip on the bottom of the cartridge when you buy it, and it needs to be removed before you put the cartridge in the printer.
