I have the same problem - but not very often. It has happened 2 or 3 times ever - once while we were on vacation and it totally soaked everything in the laundry room for a few days - yuck! If you find a solution, I would love to hear it. If it is my water inlet solenoid, how do I fix that?

Sounds like your water inlet solenoid is stuck open.

Westinghouse front load washer GHW9150PW1 fills with water when it is not in use and floods my garage. The door is left open when not in use and the water flows over the door and onto the floor.

Check the outlet pipe is not syphoning.
If it is up above the drum height and free to the air, check for a foreign body, sand etc, in the water inlet solenoid.

GE Profile leaking onto floor

Clean the drain pan and drain line in the back of the freezer section behind the cover underneath the evaporator coil. (hint: use turkey baster with hot water) Make sure water drains when you pour it in. If it doesn't - also clean drain tube on the back of the unit behind the cover. When done - put the tube exactly where it was.
Good luck! :)

My roper washing machine wont stop filling, water just keeps running until it runs over the top of tub and onto floor. I was just wondering if the switch controls the water level of is there something on...

If when you shut off or unplug the machine, the water stops response #1 is correct.
If shutting it off or unplgging it, doesn't work and you have to shut the water off at the shut off valves, the dual water valve is bad.

Random filling of the tub, door open, leaks on floor.

The only thing that can admit water with the power off to the machine is a bad Fill valve. Replace

Leaking water on floor only happens when making ice

I wonder if you just notice the noise now because the leak has you more aware? First things first. Lift up the arm on the ice maker (a few hours prior to attempting service) to stop it's operation. You need to roll the unit forward to give you access to the back. You'll see a plastic tube that runs from the bottom compartment (water valve) to the ice maker fill tube. Lower the arm of the ice maker and observe the plastic tube for the location of the leak. The most likely spot would be at the top. A hose clamp can be put on the fill tube after making sure the plastic supply tube is completely inserted into the fill tube. The fill tube is the piece that goes through the rear bulkhead and delivers the water to the icemaker. It may be neccessary to remove the icemaker to thaw out the fill tube using a hair dryer.

When the washer is off, even if the door is left open, the tub will fill with water and leak onto the floor.

sounds as if you have a bad inlet water vavle, it doenst complety shut off after use, and waer will trickle in( adding up to quite a bit in a day) youll need to replace the water inlet valve(directly behind themachine where the hoses hook into). in the meantime turn off water inbetween uses

Fills on its own door open or closed

I would bet the water inlet valve is weeping. It may not seal shut every time. It could have a piece of rest stuck in it also. It's cheap and easy to replace. The part # AP3128776.

Duet washer leaking

If the leak started occurring after the bellow was replaced, and it's on the left hand side of the door, I suspect the bellow is not seated around the fill tube all the way. I have experienced this problem before. Check the fill tube where it comes in by the door. The rubber should be seated back far enough to allow the tube to fill into the tub without obstruction. It could be that the fill tube is forcing water BEHIND the bellow and leaking into the washer and on to the floor. To answer your question, "YES", replacing the bellow could have caused your leak.
