switch the printer off
connect the usb cable to the laptop/ pc
turn the printer on and the computer will see it as a plug in and will search for the drivers and automatically down load them
another way is to connect the printer to the computer, right click on the printer and go to the properties tab --open that and click on drivers and latest driver up date
