The model # is 82172820. Every thing else is fine I've even taken a look at it myself i just don;t what else to do or who else to ask so if you could figure out what is wrong that would be great.
A part was broken on my washer when this happened to me. The repairman said it was because we put too many heavy jeans in at one time.
Check the shoe inside your agitator. GO TO www.repairclinic.com AND ENTER YOUR MODEL NUMBER. THEN SCROLL ALL THE WAY DOWN TO THE RED 100 AND CLICK IT, NEXT LOOK FOR PART 3137 AND 539628. REMOVE CAP TO SEE THIS PART ON IN YOUR AGITATOR. OR PART 3379 AND 3234. ONE OF THESE SHOULD BE THE PROBLEM.
Hi
1 of 2 things could be the trouble.
Does the washer drain properly if you manually turn the control knob? If not then this sounds like your pump is either plugged with possible lint and can't move or has died completely. 99% chance pump is the problem and 99% chance it can be an easy fix by cleaning the pump where the Drain Line is attached, worst case scenario pump is to be replaced, but not a overall expensive fix and most can do it without a technician.
Second problem is possibly the time itself, but if the washer is going through all cycles except spin then pump is likely the culprit, cause in spin cycle the machine has to drain the water from the unit as it spins, if it cannot the washing machine basically stops and cannot complete the cycle.
One way to tell for sure if the pump is the problem. When the machine enters the spin cycle and starts making that noise. Manually turn the dial a little bit till it passes the spin cycle, if it continues to wash till it hits the final spin/drain cycle then stops again...your pump is in need of help.
