I went to SharpUSA online and read the manual and there is no mention of being able to reset without the remote. I guess you are using a universal remote at the moment. The manual does mention a default password that you can use if you forgot your password.
Try a few "universal
methods" for unlocking the child lock. Some televisions have a universal
code built in for disabling the child lock --no matter what your code is. A
