Whirlpool awz 475 washer dryer unlock child lock

The diagram for the Whirlpool should be somewhere in the dryer if no one took it out don't know about the other one .

Unplug the unit and take the top with the screws holding the lid on. Take a look at all of the wires on the top of the machine. You might notice broken/burnt wires on the safeties that are close to or that directly activate the heating element located in the blower housing located at the top of this washer/dryer condensing unit.

I bought before through Ebay , might get it cheaper there though .
Just make sure you got the right part number :) and search it ..

make sure filter is clean, and that exhuast hose is not kinked , not allowing flow, , also door switch may be bad, or timer is defective

Press and hold "end of cycle" button for 3 seconds, on the right side of panel. This is the child lock feature, do it again & it locks

You should try unplugging the washer for a while, this may reset it. Look in the manual on how to operate the child lock function if there is one. If you can't get it to work after that, there may be a mechanical problem.

I have moved into an apartment with a whirlpool AWZ475 washing machine with no instructions. Is there somewhere I can get an operators instructions on line ?
