Whirlpool duet dreyer control lock On --can't program dreyer

try unplugging for a couple of minutes and it should reset to factory settings.

My washer won't start because the Control locked light is on Help?

on the control panel you should see a button marked lock or child proof or with a pic of lock or key... hold in for 3 - 5 secs and that should unlock it. it's there to stop the little ones from messing with the washer since the controls are in reach if inquisitive hands.

The control panel red light is on: Control Locked" and dryer won't start what should I do?

While the machine is on press "end of cycle" for 3 seconds. Try this again if it does not open, this is the child lock program - to lock and unlock; it is the same procedure.

How do you unlock the control panel? It happened once before, always by accident, and I can't remember how to unlock it. It should unlock by unplugging it but that doesn't work. Thanks you.

Press and hold "end of cycle" button for 3 seconds, on the right side of panel. This is the child lock feature, do it again & it locks

Control button is locked and will not unlock

You should try unplugging the washer for a while, this may reset it. Look in the manual on how to operate the child lock function if there is one. If you can't get it to work after that, there may be a mechanical problem.

You may have a bad key on the keypad. Does it respond if you push on the side of the key instead of the middle of the key?
