HP Photosmart C4100 All-in-One Printer we keep getting the carriage jam message

Carriage jam errors refer to the "carriage" that the ink cartridges sit in. The errors can be caused by a lot of things including lack of lubrication of the belt, something being inside the printer, etc. Check to see how freely the carriage moves back and forth when the printer door is open.

Too many printers listed

Not sure what happen to this but I had the same problem. What you need to do is highlight each one except the first HP Photosmart 4100 series, and delete all the other ones.

So delete the following 6 printers.

Send to One Note 2007
Microsoft XPS Document Writer
HP Photosmart C4100 series (copy 1)
HP --------------------" ------" (copy 2)
HP....................................(copy 3) AND
HP ..................................(copy 4) which is the only one that works!!!!!

Now the one that is left should be the default. Do a test page or print something out to make sure.

This should fix your problem. Please rate.
