Have you tried putting a paperclip in the reset hole and holding it until it resets? Try updating the firmware here.

Gigaware mp3 and when i turn it on, it says File System Error!!!

Get a small pin and insert it in the reset hole on the side or bottom of the device. It will format the disk, erase it and reset it to factory settings. You lose everything, but can reinstall it. First open up the drive and copy all songs to your disk or a flash drive, perform reset option then reinstall all music over.

My mp3 player turns on and read file system error. Can I reset or fix the problem

System files might got corrupted. The best way for you to do is to reformat the MP3 Player. Hook it up on your computer's usb port. Right click your windows START button and choose Explore. It will open the windows explorer. Look for the drive letter associated with your MP3 player, right click on it and choose Format. Do a quick format and after that, you should be good.

Hope this helps you.

Push in the tiny reset button on the device. If that doesn't fix it, install the latest firmware from Philips.com

Failed to load system files...How can I reset?

To reset you need to have MP3 switched on, THEN hold the off switch for 10 seconds. If this fails to reset. You may have some corrupted music files sitting on the harddrive.email [email protected] if you still have problems as i had the same issue and found a workaround.
