The fuel filter is under pressure so be sure to remove the gas cap before attempting to remove the filter. If not you will strip out the nuts. Run your vehicle until the reserve fuel light has been on for 20 or so miles. This way you can let the remaining fuel (1-2 gallons) run into a gas can and you can reuse it. Unscrew the nuts from the gas tank side and the engine side, then install the new filter. The fuel filter is located on the passenger side, almost directly under the front seat, but on the undercarriage. Hope this helps.

92 4Runner 3.0 V6, cranks and runs for 1/2 a second only. Engine has spark, compression, and fuel(45 psi). No injector pulse. It will only stay running if you spray ether or gas into the intake.

have you replaced the fuel filter? Where did you test the fuel pressure at (was it after the filter or before?)
Also - I'm just curious -- how old is the fuel?

I cant find my fuel filter on my 1985 toyota 4runner i looked along the frame rails from the tank to the motor 22re all i could find was a canister 3 times the size of my fuel filter they gave me it had...

The filter is well hidden from casual view. It is bolted to the passenger side of the engine block. It is above the starter and under the intake manifold. The filter is very hard to change. Depending on your skills as a contortionist and tools on hand, you may have to remove the both the oil filter and starter to get to it.

Seems like you replaced everything on the ignition but the cap. Sounds like a good place to look to me.
Look for burn marks around contacts.

1997 4Runner oil quantity

For a V6 # Liter engine, you will use a galon and almost half (that is about 6 Liters of oil). I use a Toyota camry V6 3 Liter engine that shares the same engine with the Toyota 4Runner.

1992 Chrysler LeBaron 3.0 L. V6 Engine runs beautifully but after 16-20 miles highway driving engine stalls as if flooded, or as if fuel is cut-off. After sitting for a few minutes, will start and run...

the owner probably rerouted the fuel line because like my 92 chrysler lebaron v6 3.0 the fuel lines keep seeming to come off and the clamps always break. I have replaced the clamps 5 times in a month and replaced filters 2 times in 2 months. The only thing i could think of is that your fuel is being cut off possibly because there is no filter to clean all the junk out. Try putting a fuel filter on and see if that will work
