Virus - mst122.dll

Hello,

I must have recently acquired some type of virus. My virus program picks up and quarantines (sic) some type of virus that is associated with mst122.dll. I continue to get the warning, but I cant seem to get rid of it via my virus program. Has anyone seen this?

Thanks, Vic

Install an updated full version of antivirus. Your antivirus might-be-out of date. I recommend you to use avast or avg 8. They will remove all the viruses they detect from your system. But remember to install only one antivirus because installing more than one antivirus can clash down your computer. After installing the new antivirus, scan your computer and delete all the detected viruses. Delete also your temporary internet files, cookies, cache, etc. To do this, follow these steps:

  1. Go to Start, Control Panel.
  2. Network and Internet Connections
  3. Internet Options
  4. In the Browsing History, click Delete...
  5. Delete Browsing History box appears, Click Delete All button found at the bottom.
  6. Reboot your computer.
Install also RegFix. RegFix helps to fix System Registry Errors and can also optimize your pc.

ERROR LOADING C:\PROGA~1\MYWEBS~\bar\7.bin\M3PLUGIN.DLL IS THIS WHY MY COMPUTER WON'T GO BACK TO A RESTORE POINT ,CAN YOU FIX IT FOR ME?

If you try and restore, and this error comes up when you are restoring then yes.

Check the quarantine file in your anti-virus and see if your anti-virus
quarantined this file.

If you emptied the folder then you can try and download the DLL, and copy it to the system 32 folder in windows.

C, windows, system 32.

Also place it in the program folder of MYWEBS.

This is the download for the DLL below.

When it scans and finds a virus it won't let me delete

Then if you can quarantine that in a folder. Quarantine it. If pccillin have a reporting log with its path. Then copy in a piece of paper the name and path. Then delete that in DOS mode if you are familiar with that only be sure that it is a legit viral file.

I have a virus and stmanteec antivirus notification keeps popping up on my screen: What can I do??? Help Scan type: Auto-Protect Scan Event: Threat Found! Threat: Trojan.Zlob File: ...

If you have a virus you can not delete or if your system will not boot up correctly and you suspect a virus is the problem, a recommended solution is to start your computer in safe mode and run a virus scan. By running your computer in safe mode, non-essential processes do not start and non-core components are disabled. In other words, only the minimum necessary programs will load. Tough to remove viruses, spyware and other malware usually have no chance to run and disrupt your system and can more easily be removed.
**To run a virus scan in safe mode, you must have active anti virus software installed on your computer.
To run a virus scan in safe mode, follow these steps:
  1. If your computer is on, shut it down
  2. Power on your computer
  3. Immediately after you power on your computer, repeatedly press the [F8] key (about once per second)
  4. In the Windows Advanced Options Menu screen, use the arrows to select Safe Mode and presss [Enter]
  5. Select your current operating system and press [Enter]
  6. Select the user you would like to login under (if applicable)
  7. When your system finishes booting, click the Start button on your task bar
  8. Move your cursor over All Programs and navigate to your anti virus program
  9. Click on your antiv virus program to run it and follow the anti virus program’s normal steps to run a virus scan
  10. After the virus scan is complete, Delete all detected viruses
  11. Close out of your anti virus software
  12. Restart your computer (it should start in normal mode)
