A small pink cloud keeps flashing on and off on my tv, only in one corner area

Black bars to pink dots are all symptoms of the logic board failing. Samsung p/n# BN96-02042A and this isn't a repair for the novice. The board itself contains many small smd caps that are the likely culprits. But the fine wire traces on this board make replacing the caps nearly impossible without some very sophisticated smd removal equipment and a magnifier that could double as a hubble telescope. Most shops merely replace the board. They're about $180 plus shipping and core charges. If you want to price it goto vance baldwin's site https://www.vancebaldwin.com and enter as a guest. Select parts and enter the part number above. It's about 1-2 hour install and re-assemble barring any complications. Find a reputable shop and take the unit in yourself. That will help keep the cost down, but expect that this one will cost in the neighborhood of $375 - $450 and could run higher if anything else is found wrong. Wow, I've been an installer and salesman in the consumer electronics industry since before the first plasma TV came out (Phillips 42" and Fujitsu 42" in 1996) and this is the first time I've ever seen that kind of an answer. "Take this to a repairman and he can add more plasma" what is the repairman a doctor. If it were that easy no one would ever have to upgrade or replace their screens. You can't add more plasma to a screen, if you don't believe me call Samsung and ask them for yourself like I did. I was actually so dumbfounded by your answer that I called a tech friend of mine at Samsung and asked him, his answer; "does this guy work for you?" I told him no and he said, "I was going to tell you to fire him because that's the dumbest thing I've ever heard anyone tell a customer".
What you need to do is take you plasma TV to an AUTHORIZED Samsung dealer/repair shop and inquire about the hazing/ghosting problem with them. Follow this link to find an authorized repair center near you: http://www.samsung.com/us/support/repairlocation/serviceLocator.do?group=&type=&subtype=&model_nm=HP-R4262&dType=D&mType=UM&vType=R&prd_ia_cd=&acc_ia_fl=&disp_nm=HP-R4262

This is know as diffusion. You will need to locate the Vs adjustment inside the TV and vary it up and down by NO MORE THAN 10 volts. If this does not correct the problem then you will need to replace the Plasma panel.
