Question about JVC AV-48WP30 48" Rear Projection Television

Enquiry My JVC 21 inch Tv has a problem whereby the people being seen on the tv have oblonged images.From what i can see personally is that all images are upright that is they are straight or tall.What could be the problem with my tv.Please help me.

Does the screen seem like it's stretched top to bottom? Or does it have a wave like appearance when the object moves on set? Either way some resistance has changed. You may look at board and see a chardd or burnt spot near a resistor. You shoud have value checked and replaced. Also look for any caps out of line or distorted.

Talk to JVC as I have suggested and this is likely a known problem: loss of any color, picture upside down etc requires a upgrade to correct and I have seen about twenty sets with their name like this with this kind of problem.

JVC VM-42WX84 Plasma TV starts to have picture fading of different colors and then goes black. The TV then turns off and the power light on lower right corner starts to blink.
it is able oir but himself not the image can be seen

If it has been moved or bumped recently the sound you are hearing is the main HT lead that has been displaced. TGhis is a blasck lead with a rubber disk surround at its end that fits into the picture tube. Do not touch without turning TV Off and using rubber gloves to reinsert.

JVC TV won't shut off.
ac relay stuck. located in fuse area oblong blue or white plastic cover 1 inch by2inch  try tapping on same.

TV, i plug it in, turn it on, no image, "on timer" light comes on.
In a large number of failures with these symptoms it's usually the HOT (horiz. output trans. Q522, which is a 2sd2499) and the regulator (Str30134), together with fuse F902 (Gma 1.25a). Not an expensive repair or that complicated if you're fairly good with electronics and know how to solder correctly. Otherwise take it in and have it repaired professionally - it's worth it...

sounds like your crt tubes...meaning Red, Green and Blue are out of alignment...or possibly 1 of the crt's is burned out.

PHILLIPS PROJECTION TV while hauling this tv home, the plexiglass screen broke a bit. Not a problem...it clips back on. However, some sort of paper type things must have been in between the the plexi screen and the main screen...they blew out. I am pretty sure I need those...but what are they???
