Zenith Z213 Digital Stereo Clock Radio with TV, Weather Band and Remote Control
Preset Station Memories
Note: To change the display from clock to radio frequency, press the Display button.
This radio has a total of 37 preset station memories: 10 AM, 10 FM, 10 TV, and 7 Weather band that can be used to store your
favorite stations for immediate recall. To enter stations in the memories, proceed as follows:
1. Tune to the first station you wish to memorize.
2. While the station frequency appears on the display (example: FM 98.7 MHz), press the Memo Set button once. The PRESET
indictor flashes in the display.
3. While the PRESET indicator is flashing, press one of the Preset buttons on the control panel (example 1). 1 appears in
the display.
4. Press the Memo Set button again to enter the station in preset memory 1.
5. After 5 seconds, the display changes from radio frequency to clock time, but the preset memory number remains in the
display.
To preset additional stations, repeat steps 1 thru 4 selecting a different preset number each time. To select preset numbers 1
thru 5, simple press the appropriate button. To select preset numbers 6 thru 10, press the +5 button first and then press 1 thru
5 buttons. For example, to select preset number 6, press +5 and then press 1.
After you have preset up to 10 stations on one band, you may select another band and preset up to 10 stations on that band in
the same manner. You may preset a total of 37 stations, but no more than 10 per band and 7 for Weather.
Recalling Preset Station
1. Turn the radio ‘On’ and select the desired band.
2. Press one of the preset buttons on the control panel to select the desired station. To select presets 6 thru 10, press
the +5 button first and then press one of the Preset buttons.
You may also select presets by pressing Preset Up button on the remote handset. Each press advances the tuner to the next
preset.
Changing Preset Stations
To change a preset station, simply enter a new station into the preset number you wish to change. The new station will be
“remembered” and the previous station will be “forgotten”.

if the radio alarm is still showing the nonexistent 98.5, you would need to reset the radio alarm. Press and hold button 1 (top left hand side) until the display starts blinking. Then press the preset button for 98.1. It should then display 98.1 on your radio alarm. good luck this is the most difficult set of instructions I've seen yet

I found out you tune the radio to the station you want to preset, and hold the preset button (1-6) that you want to assign it to until it beeps. And it's set.

To set individual presets: 1. tune to the station you want as a preset 2. hold down the number (ie "1") on the remote until the number blinks on the system 3. repeat for all other stations
press the number on the remote to tune to your preset
this is very similar to setting the presets on my car radio

How do I present the stations on my Zenith Z1233ba?

To set the Alarm press the Alarm Set button then use the set buttons on top change the Alarm time. Use the to change the Alarm time, when the Alarm time is set press and hold enter until you hear a beep. Press the Alarm On/Off button to select radio or buzzer for the alarm or alarm off.

Zenith clock radio Z212B setting memory buttons

Press "display" and make sure the radio is displaying frequency, not time.
Tune the radio frequency you want to add to memory. Press "Memo Set" and observe that "preset" flashes on the display.
Press the number of the memory channel that you want to save to.
Press "Memo Set" and observe that "preset" on the display has stopped flashing.
The frequency is now saved the selected channel.

Tuning to radio stations

  1. 1 Select TUNER source. ? TUNER is displayed briefly.
  2. 2 Press BAND once or more to select your
    waveband.
  1. 3 Press down on TUNING a? or a? and release button.
    ? The radio automatically tunes to a station with sufficient reception. Display indication during automatic tuning: SEARCH.? If a FM station is received in stereo, STEREO is shown.
  2. 4 Repeat step 3 if necessary until you find the desired station.
To tune to a weak station, press TUNING briefly and repeatedly until you have found optimal reception.


Programming radio stations
You can store up to a total of 40 radio stations in the memory.
Automatic programming
Automatic programming will start with a chosen preset number. From this preset number upwards, former programmed radio stations will be overridden.The system will only programme stations which are not in the memory already.
Press PRESET 3 or 4 (on the remote control ¡ or TM ) to select the preset number where programming should start.
Note:
- If no preset number is selected, default is preset (1) and all your presets will be overridden.
Press PROGRAM for more than 2 seconds to activate programming.? AUTO is displayed and available stations are programmed in order of waveband reception strength: FM followed by MW and LW.The last preset automatically stored will then be played.
Manual programming
Tune to your desired station (see "Tuning to radio stations").
Press PROGRAM to activate programming. ? PROGRAM flashes in the display.
Press PRESET 3 or 4 (on the remote control ¡ or TM ) to allocate a number from 1 to 40 to this station.
Press PROGRAM again to confirm the setting. ? PROGRAM disappears, the preset number and the frequency of the preset station are shown.
Repeat the above four steps to store other stations.

How do I preset different radio stations?

Hello
There are 6 preset position available for each radio band.
For programming, Radio must be ON. Tune to a station. Press MEMO/DEMO. Press any button 1 to 6. The tuned station will be memorised on the number you select by button press. Repeat using a new station and preset number. There is no atu preset option available with this device. You have to store stations you want according to your preference. Only 6 station positions for each band [total 12 positions] together with AM and FM bands.
To recall the stored stations, press the desired number 1 to 6.

with the radio station showing you want to preset, press the clock adjust button. THis will cause the preset light to flash. Then push the button you want to store it to and push the clock adjust button to lock it in.

Need operating manual for Zenith Model Z253W radio

Zenith Z212B CD clock radio

Have you done the presets on the memory. Do that then select the station you want to wake up to. Hopefully its fm. Per the instruction manuel . Set or adjust the alarm time if necessary. Press the Alarm on/off button if necessary until one of the alarm indicatior either the note or alarm appears on display when the buzzer alarm is selected. While the alarm time display is flashing press the tuner button to select am, fm, or tv band. The selected indicatior appears in the display ( Note : you can only select the band when you have selected wake to music. While the alarm time display is flashing press one of the preset buttons to select the station you wish to hear when the alarm goes off.

Need an owners manual

to set the 5 main presets:
with radio on, use the manual tuner to find station you want on a preset. push and release mem/clock adj button (mem will flash on display), push preset number and while holding it in push the mem/clock adj button again (mem on display will go away). station is now preset to that number.

to set the 5 additional presets:
with radio on, use the manual tuner to find station you want on a preset. push and release the +5 button (+5 will flash on display), push and release mem/clock adj button (mem will also flash on display), push preset number and while holding it in push the mem/clock adj button again (mem on display will go away). station is now preset to that +5 number.

to set the digital clock display:
with radio off, push and release the mem/clock adj button (clock display will now flash), use the tun up / hr part of manual tuning button to adjust hour and the tun dn / min part to adjust minutes.
