Question about Timex (T307S) Clock Radio

1 Answer

How do I reset the radio alarm preset on Timex (T307S) Clock Radio

I have a radio alarm set to F1 preset station. However somehow the F1 on the preset has been bumped up a couple points on the radio dial to a nonexistent station (from 98.1 to 98.5) and now I get loud static when the alarm goes off. I was able to fix the F1 preset back to show 98.1. However the Radio alarm still shows the nonexistent station 98.5. How do I change the radio frequency for the alarm?

How come stupid Timex can't put a link for alarm clocks on their TIMEX website?

Link for the online manual for TIMEX ALARM CLOCKS ishttp://www.timexaudio.com/support.asp, not Timex.com.

If the radio alarm is still showing the nonexistent 98.5, you would need to reset the radio alarm. Press and hold button 1 (top left hand side) until the display starts blinking. Then press the preset button for 98.1. It should then display 98.1 on your radio alarm. good luck this is the most difficult set of instructions I've seen yet

Why does my radio alarm only work with one station?

When you're setting the alarm you should be able to choose any of the stations programmed into your radio. Just press radio to choose radio for the wakeup, and press one of the presets. You can also set the volume at which it comes on.

How do I preset channels on the Nexxtech AM radio Model 1219833?

The most common way to set those buttons is to tune in a station and then press and hold the button down that you want to set it to. It will beep of flash to show you that it has preset.

I had the same problem - alarm going off at midnight. Hold down the Menu and Select buttons at the same time to reset the radio. This removes the alarm. It will rescan and find all digital stations again but you will lose any presets.

Have lost four preset channels on my Technika DAB 109CR digital clock radio and lost manual so have nothing to consult to get back these stations. Everything live but showing only one station constantly

Finally sussed out how to (re)set presets, overall you need a little patience:
Probably best to press Autotune before we set off and let it do its thing.
Press 'presets' and find a free channel or the one you want to change, leave it until you can hear the station its on play.
Now, press 'jog/select' and WAIT until it says <SELECT> (but don't wait too long when it says this or you'll have to start again)
Use dial to find station you want AND LEAVE to tune in.
Press AND hold presets down until number flashes.
Press jog/select once briefly (normally).
Press presets once briefly...it should now say "Saved"
Leave to save for a few seconds.
Voila!
You can now change station either by pressing Presets and moving dial...waiting for the station to load OR press jog/select to manually tune to the station of your choice using the dial.

Have bought a Technika DAB 109 CRF radio and no instructions. 1. how do I tune it and SAVE to presets 2. How do I set the alarm? Thank you

To set alarm mode :- press Alarm 1 or 2 briefly to swtich between choices of Alarm On-Beep / DAB / FM / Off, keep pressing this alarm button until you get to the mode you want then stop pressing and leave to settle.
To set time: Press and HOLD Alarm 1 or 2 to change time. Minutes will flash first, use dial to change numbers, when you've got to the number you want press jog/select to change hour, use dial to change hour number. If you just leave it alone once you've reached the hour you want it will set where you left it, but...
If you want to specify preset channel/volume/beep tone etc keep pressing jog/preset after setting hour and use dial to set your preferences.

Clock is in military time mode. How do I reset to regular? Also I want to preset radio stations and I've lost my manual.

Here is your manual in PDF format:

http://www.bose.co.uk/GB/en/images/Wave%20Radio%20CD_tcm6-4104.pdf

To set AM/PM (12 hour) or Military (24 hour) time - With the system off, hold down Alarm Setup and press On/Off to switch between AM/PM (12 hour) and Military (24 hour) time formats.

To preset up to 6 AM and 6 FM stations - Use the Track/Tune buttons to find the desired station. Then, on the control panel only, hold down any Preset button until the preset number lights. The station is now preset to that number.
