I did the r11 and q6 fix and the bearing replacement years ago. Everything has worked well since then. Just recently the washer won't come on at all. Just to clarify, this isn't the 5 second stop problem. It won't come on at all. The light inside will come on when the door is open. I checked the r11 and q6, and they are fine. I verified power is getting to the machine. 123v. The door is definitely closed, and I've tried pushing the button with my finger. Still no luck. I don't know what else to check/try. Any thoughts?
IT IS THE DOOR AND SPIN SWITCH AT THE TOP OF THE DOOR IN THE CENTER THERE IS A KIT THAT REPLACES BOTH SWITCHES AND LOCK . IF THEY ARE BLOWN IT MAY HAVE CAUSED THE CONTROL BOARD TO BLOW A RESISTOR .TO CHECK THIS TAKE THE SCREWS OUT OF THE TOP OF THE PANEL OPEN IT AND INSPECT THE CONTROL BOARD AT THE RIGHT CENTER OF THE CONSOLE. LOOK FOR A BURNED OUT RESISTOR JUST OVER THE BOTTOM LEFT PROCESSOR YOU SHOULD SEE IT CLEARLY IF IT IS BURNED OUT IF SO YOU MUST ALLSO REPLACE THAT .IF YOU DONT THE NEW SWITCH KIT WILL BURN IT OUT ALLSO ...

Take out the bleach and softener tray (it just lifts out, angle it a little) and unscrew the 4 bezel screws and take out the bezel. You will find a red or green plastic pull line that is supposed to release the door. You may have to "man-handle" the door a bit and pull hard on the line before it will release. Once you work on the door release mechanism (I had to replace the wax motor again, even though it was the "upgrade" black plunger type) I recommend shooting a little silicon spray on the white plastic moving parts of the locking mechanism to get them to move more easily.
This is true on a Maytag Neptune MAH3000AWW front loading washer. Mine is 11 years old, and had the initial wax motor work done at 7 years.

check the spin enable switch. there is a seperate switch for the lock light and spin enable. if the actuator doesn't extend fully it won't hit the switch. or the switch is bad. It's located in the door latch assembly.

If you experience a problem where the washer does not drain properly or the drain pump makes excessive noise, hereās the information you need to check the drain pump:
Symptom: PUMP IS RUNNING, BUT NOT DRAINING PROPERLY.
1. Unplug the washer while servicing inside the unit.
2. Remove the lower kick panel under the door by removing the three 7mm screws under the bottom edge of the panel. HINT: Use a couple of blocks of wood to prop up the front feet of the washer to gain better access to the screws. Once the screws are removed the panel should drop down, and then pull off. If the panel becomes stuck, a slight tap on either side will dislodge it.
3. Locate the drain pump. It will be located directly under the wash tub (it is the only pump this washer has).
4. There is an access removal cover on the pump that can be removed to clean out the trap. BEFORE doing this, it is strongly recommended that you remove all residual water from the wash tub & drain line or you will have about a gallon or so inside your washer and on the floor to clean up.
5. Hereās a helpful way of quickly removing the residual water. If you own a wet/dry shop vac, remove the drain hose from the standpipe at the wall and pull a vacuum with the shop vac. This will empty the wash tub, pump and drain lines. If you donāt own a shop vac, grab a bunch of old towels and open the access on the pump slowly so that it comes out at a trickle. Allow the towels to soak up the majority of the water. Close the access and stop the water if you need to get additional towels.
6. Open the pump access and remove once you have all the water drained. Check the drain pump for foreign objects and debris. Check the pump impeller and make sure thereās nothing caught in it. Items as small as toothpicks or cotton swabs have been known to stop this pump from working.
7. Clean out the pump thoroughly and reinstall the access cover. Make sure the cover is snug, but do not over tighten.
8. Place the drain hose back in the standpipe (IMPORTANT ā DO NOT FORGET!).
9. With the bottom panel still off, plug the washer back in and select the following on the operator console ā DRAIN SPIN, NO SPIN, and then press any button under OPTIONS 4 times (it must be the same button). āC00ā will show on the console display as the washer begins diagnostics mode.
10. Check the drain pump for leaks as the washer fills. The pump is gravity filled and will hold water even it is not pumping. Allow washer to run through diagnostics until it begins the wash tub tumble cycle.
11. At this point, you can stop the diagnostics procedure by pressing PAUSE/CANCEL 2 times. The drain pump energizes and the washer will begin to drain.
12. If the drain pump works normal and there are no leaks detected, reinstall the bottom panel and tighten screws.
NOTE: It is normal to have residual water left inside the wash tub under the wash basket. This is why it is important to leave the door ajar when not in use so this water does not become sour.

Motor control board fuse is still good. R43 looks fine too.
I just noticed that if I put the timer knob into the rinse cycle area and hold the "START/STOP" button down, it runs until I release the button. It won't stay on without me holding the button, the "ON" light never comes on, and it won't do anything if the timer knob is not on the rinse cycle area.
I was reading some info on more recent models of Neptune washers that have digital displays, and I found something about an "LR" (locked rotor) error involving the motor. Are the symptoms of that problem similar to mine? Could it be that my motor is bad and I just don't have the digital display to tell me so? How would I check?
Did you find the issue? My washer is having exactly the same symptoms.
