Rca 24v414t turns on and off by itself

Complete waste-- if your on snow-- you
get the injectors cutting off & rear brakes
slamming on,sorry I ordered that

I have the wiring diagrams & never figured it out yet,
seems too embedded into abs, to isolete from abs

You could command the abs unit open,pull the fuse
& forget the abs until inspection time,haven't tried that
yet

1- check the outlet for power by plugging in a lamp or something
2- check the amps fuse. Most power amps have user replaceable glass fuses.

You haven't mentiond about sound. If sound id there, and picture is absent, check its Horizontal Output section for fault. LOT {Line Output Transformer} is likely faluty.

turn down the amps gain and radio volume to lowest.

a. disconnect the RCAs at the source end. (at the head unit)
b. connect only 1 RCA at a time to the amp. ok?/fails?
still fails? u have a short in the RCA wire. toss it.

didnt fail?
a. with radio off, connect RCA to radio while RCAs are connected to amp.
fails? you've got a dead short on radio side.

does not fail? turn on radio...fails? radio is issue. (not very likely though)


my quess is that you've left out a significant observation as the probability of a shorted radio is low and you say you swapped RCAs.

In your main menu go to SETTINGS --> PHONE SETTINGS --> VOICE COMMANDS --> CALL ALERT and select RING ONLY

ive seen this before. possible remote control interferance from nearby neighbor

it could be a ghost but most likely a bad solder connection , crystal(controls the eprom)(menu chip) , or the eprom chip itself will need to be replaced

i have an rca tv shuts off by itself lite only the standby power after 2-5 minutes you can turned it on and will off automiticaly pls. help me with my tv model 24v414t.

I have been having the exact same problem. I tried contacting RCA customer support, which forwarded me to Audiovox customer support and their reply was that they don't handle the RT2760 model number.. they gave me another phone number to call, but it's the weekend and I got the "our offices are closed" message. Anyway, does anybody have any idea what's going on with our units?
