Hopefully this is external to the TV which makes for an easy fix. Look at the panasonic menu, is it clear or distorted? if not you may have just swapped the blue and red component wires on your cable/sat box or dvd. Component video uses 3 wires for your picture (red, green, and blue).. the video runs on the green wire, but the red and blue are just chroma (color) so if you get them backwards you will get his issue. If this is not the case and you have an internal failure, there is something wrong in you video processing. Narrowing down can be achieved by checking all inputs and resolutions. If its on all inputs, its likely after your video switching IC, if not, before. Another good test is HD which bypasses much of the scaler (doubler) circuit that upconverts all non-hd video to HD for displaying on screen. If all is bad, but HD is good, the scaler circuit is faulty. All this video circuitry is usually encompassed by the Signal board, but specific models will determine exact repair procedure. A local repair shop may be the best bet if its a tv failure.

Missing red composite signal on panasonic pt-47wx52cf

Check your jacks and cables.

The RED jack is either (1) left or right channel AUDIO signal or (2) the RED color channel of an RGB (Red, Green, Blue) COMPONENT video signal.

Yellow is the COMPOSITE video signal.

My panasonic 1080i hdtv is about 7 yrs old and i got an insigna blue ray player the color has no reds just yellow and blue how can i fix this

See if the heater of the red projector crt is working. Try to do some tapping on the crt board to find if there are loose contacts that needs resoldering. if the heater is on and no loose contacts, probably the red projector needs replacement.

Panasonic pt43lc14 no red color. picture is good. cannot get anything to look normal color after trying to adjust color/tint/picture etc. Have alot of blues and yellow, and brown. seems like no red.

It appears that your light engine is broken, I have the same problem. Have you recently changed the bulb with a non-panasonic part bought on the internet. I did this and think thats what caused the problem. I believe the new bulb burn at a higher temp thus causing damage to the Light engine filters

The color looks off

most likely one of your component cables is loose or unplugged. this will stop one of the colors from coming through, thus throwning off your color. you need to check your red, blue, and green cables.

You need to adjust screen drives on Red Green Blue tubes ,does all 3 of them light up? Focus/screen control box is in front of TV behind front panel Turn color off then adjust all 3 tubes to where you have a black and white looking picture, now turn color back on.

Panasonic SC-PT 950 DVD color

Hello seth251
I need to know how you hook this up. Do you have it hookup to component (red, green, blue cables) or is it composite (yellow, red and white). This is very important for progressive on.

Please let me know
Best regards

Tashiba projection tv

could be a tube, but due to the model I would say something amiss in the red drive circuits Usually panasonic has blue tubes and green fail first. Try switching the Red RT socket with the green. if it still comes red then its in the tube, If it comes on green instead of red you know its in the drive circuits not the tube. Hope this helps let me know if you need anything further.
