Panasonic PV-GS15 Eject Tape Problem

My camcorder can record and play, but it will not eject the tape. Every so often the push reset button will come on and will not play. After pushing it, it will record and play again. I tried closing the latch that covers the usb connector, but no good.

SOURCE: push the reset button

let the camera sit alone for About 20 min,so that the camcorder automatically turned off. I turned it off, then back on and did not receive the reset button prompt.
if that doesn't work unplug the battery and all power and plug back in.

Panasonic pv-gs15 will not play back recorded video in the mini dv deck. all i see is a blue screen with red text ''picture'' on bottom right corner of the screen

Make sure your tape tab is open. See if this works. Sometimes the tab should be closed to prevent eraser or recording over existing film but sometimes the tape tab has to be open to allow for playback or dubbing?

Push the reset button

My camera has been doing this too, searched this site not through product but problem and found this solution posted by "margarita" for another camera. Said to try removing/replacing the tape. When I pushed the eject button the tape did not come up, removed the battery for a minute and tried again. This time the tape came up so I removed it and put it back in, it seems to have worked. The reset button is not flashing and it did record and playback when I tried them.
