Locked out i bought a pc from a pawn shop and it is password protected how can i get in

Take it to a computer repair shop with the proof you bought it. Any good computer geek will have a password reset disk.

The person who owned it before you has probably put a bios password in the computer locking you out. I strongly recommend you take it back to the pawn shop and get your money back, or the seller gets a hold of the customer to get the required information, because without it the laptop is useless to you.

When buying things from a pawn shop, it is wise to check it out to see if it functions properly before you purchase it.
Hard disk passwords cannot be broken/hacked, and putting a new hard disk in the laptop may not work, this depends upon the BIOS password setup.
I suggest you try and return it and get a refund.

Now log on as administrator.
