Sounds like you may have a blown head gasket or a cracked head. There are test that can be done to check this the easiest and cheapest method I use is drope a few dropes of oil from your engine on something hot like the exhaust if it boils there is good indication there is coolant in your oil as the flash point of coolant is a lower temperature than oil
The one who replaced didn't fix it well, try to return to him or check another dealer. Maybe it's bad copy of touch screen, or he didn't connect the LEDs
Try removing the CMOS battery, wait 15 minutes put it back in and see that that helps. Try reseating your memory sticks. If you have more than one, test them singly and swap slots. Good luck.
After a fall like this (even on carpet) it probably has a cracked circuit board or a loose connector, first (since you took it apart any way) look for all connectors, than unplug them and re-plug them to make sure all plugs and boards are seated correctly, if you still don't have luck, than take out all the circuit boards and check them for cracks under a good lamp and magnifying lens, than repair the cracked traces with a good soldering gun by scratching off the varnish coating and applying solder. (if the crack is to wide you can solder a peace of coper wire to the trace on the board)

It would be possible for them to play on the computer because it has the capability to do so. It will be playing the files as if a memory stick is plugged. You need to convert those flv videos to a compatible format that the sansa can recognise.
