Sony Grand wega KF-60we610

Hello my name is Terry: Have you ever herd of this problem, my Sony tv's picture blinks off whenever the seen in a movie gets very bright or a big flash of light in a movie like Transformers. It will only blink for about 2 or 3 seconds and the sound will stay on the whole time? Even watching golf, if the camera follows the ball into the brite sky, out goes my picture until the ball hits the ground again? Can you help? Thank you Terry

All symptoms in your TV shows that you need to replace its Lamp as it has been consumed its life hours and TV requires new lamp. Lamp can be obtained from Sony Website. Price is $200, Hope this info will help you to enjoy your Sony TV in coming days.

Sounds like you need to replace your thermal fuse. If this does not fix, then your optics has a problem and the optical block will need to be replaced

Some of the ICs on the power supply block are damaged. This can possibly due to high voltage or defective IC. What you can do now is to get a new PS block. If you can get me the part number i can help you find it..

Sony LCD Model KF-60WE610 lamp was replaced and then it shortly after stopped turning on. Blinks Green 6 times then Red 6 times Please help!

For Sony Model KF-60WE610, KF-50WE610, and KF-42WE610, the Diagnostic Code of power light indicator flashing 6 times green, then flashing 6 times red (6 red etc), means you need to replace part number A-1302-272A G1 BOARD, COMPLETE. See Sony Service Manual, 4. Chasis-1 at part Ref no. 103. The Power Board sits vertically in two slots on the left side of the electronics board. 4 wire connectors to remove when replacing. This component fits all 3 KF models listed above.

When I try turning on the TV the power/standby light flashes green until I turn the TV off, no picture appears.

Hi,
If Sony KF-60WE610 does not show any Red blinking light then it is Lamp that need to be replaced because existing lamp has reached to end of its life but still not dead nor broken and causing problem.
If lamp got dead or broken, tv will show you Lamp light blinking.
Replace lamp in tv to solve its problem.
Hope these info will help you.
Please buy Sony original lamp for good picture in tv.
