I have lexmrk x5650 and cannot get it to work with my macpro laptop.it will only work if I directly connect printer cable to laptop. It will not work wirelessly. Had no problem with my other windows laptop, I have installed and uninstalled and reinstalled printer software and also rivers for mac. So far nothing, Need help cause I don't want to nest in new printer

Be sure the face up direction is correct.....Sounds like you may be faxing the back side of your page.

If it was working before. unplug the power to the router and plug back it.

Try moving the USB cable to another usb port. Ports can go bad; or if the printer interface is bad; it will cause this type of problem. If you want, you can try another cable too. In the end, you may end up having to replace the printer. But, certainly try another port first.

I think that Lexmark.com would have the printer drivers available for download.

Place the camera in VCR mode, connect a firewire cable and open iMovie, that should work. If not open the System Profiler and see if the camera is on the Firewire Bus.
Could be a bad cable or dead camera port, try with other equipment to trouble shoot the culprit.

Unrecoverable scan error indicates a hardware problem. It's also evident with the "knocking noise" in the printer. I strongly suggest you contact Lexmark technical support for assistance.

Did you install the full-featured software or just the OS generic driver? If a full-featured software exists for your OS, uninstall the previous driver, unplug the USB cable and install the full software.

Next try a new USB cable and a different port. If you have a USB hub or print server in use, try a direct connection to the computer. (Scanners need bi-directional communication and fail even when the printer works.)

If you can't launch a scan from the all-in-one, try launching it from the computer. (Either the full-software or another scan program (Win7 and Vista let you scan into Paint. Win7 and some versions of Vista have Windows Fax and Scan for those all-in-ones that only get support from Windows generic drivers on those OS's).)

Some of the full-featured software drivers include a monitor that must be running to see if buttons are pressed on the scanner. Check that if this is the case for your all-in-one.

and install it onto your laptop.

Up until it just broke today I have been using a LEX73. I used an old computer, I mean like a Pentium One and connected the LEX to it and then shared it. I was able to print across the network to it from my Vista laptop with no issues.
