Hello,,,
Your Canon A80 has problem of defective CCD Imager Sensor and this part need to be replaced.
Good news is that Canon will replace CCD Imager free of cost as per announced free of cost repair scheme.
Click on Canon CCD Advisory for details how to obtain free repair facility.

SOURCE: pink lines and background on all prints

I have seen this recently on an HP 4250 and the red toner cartridge was at fault. Can you replace it and try to print again?

Replace the main bd. Have a trained Samsung tech troubleshoot to confirm.

This sounds like it might be a defective CCD imager. If so, Canon should fix this for you for free worldwide, and may also include free shipping both ways (free shipping varies with countries). This is regardless of your camera's warranty status. Please check this link for more info.

Pink vertical lines on scanned documents can be is easily fixed by opening the paper feeder. To do this, open document lid, then lift feederup for about 45 degrees, then clean the narrow glass directly under the scanner. You can use a flash light to look at the position that causes the line to appear so you can identify the problem.
Dust or tiny pieces of paper may be left behind once in a while while sheets are fed into the scanner. Clean it using a damp microfiber cloth. Smeared glass, can be cleaned using rubbing alcohol on cloth. You can also vacuum the paperfeeder tray to lessen dust in the scanner opening.

The plug got torn off the the back and i do not no what or were to hook up the break lights nor do i no how to add a plug for a trailer can you please help me out
  • Hi, not sure which one you have so I will list both for you.

PINK -- if you have a microphone, connect it here

GREEN -- if you have a headset, or you have external speakers, connect it here,
to get 2-channel stereo output ("left" and "right").

BLUE -- if you have an iPod (or iPod Touch), or audio-cassette player, and you want to feed the "audio-output" from those devices into a program that will record the sound on the "line-input" port on your computer, then you need to connect this port.

Since your new motherboard does not support 5.1 audio-output, you need to purchase a sound-card that has GREEN and PINK and ORANGE and BLACK sockets, so that you can get sound into the "middle" and "back-left" and "back-right" speakers.

Or, just connect the GREEN, to use your speakers in two-channel mode.

You'll also need to access the web-site for the manufacturer of the motherboard, to download the correct device-drivers for the audio-hardware embedded onto the new motherboard, in order to get _ANY_ output out of your sound-card.

your color laser printer pink vertical line appear on the roller and film drum,
1) you need check the pink drum surface, it got damage if you find there is a different color vertival line on the drum surface, so you need change the pink drum.
2) check the pink drum cleaner (call brush to return the waste toner), it can not clean well sometimes, if the drum surface good.

A pink line is on every page printed
This is a very common problem with this model printer, it is caused by toner on the scanner mirrors. You need to clean the scanner assembly unfortunately it isn't very easy to dissemble the printer to get to it.

Scanning document
i had the same thing happen to me i went threw every thing and cleaned and still was there i came to realize that it wasnt the scanner but the software pdf that was being used the seriously took me by surprise so i went out and installed a fresh copy of pdf writer this resolved my problem with the pink markings
