Found it! To fix the SA010771 error.
This assumes you have already sat there (like I did) and tried everything including adding the event in the scanner settings and changing 0 to ScandALL PRO)
Open Scandall Pro click SCAN - Batch Scan Settings - Add a new profile, for the moment just leave everything as is (change it later). Click Close then close ScandALL PRO and then reopen it.
Click TOOL - Preferences - Event tab, you should now be able to select Profile 1 (or whatever you named it) from the dropdown for Scan.
You can figure the rest out from there : )

In the action column of Event Lists, the only Action available is "Do Nothing". How do I create the actions?

    Hi,

I apologize for replying in late.

Please follow the steps provided below:

    [SA01077I]
Nothing is defined for the event "%1" assigned to the scanner button you have pressed.
Nothing is defined for the event %1 assigned to the scanner button you have pressed.
    %1: Event details
To assign an event, from the [Tool] menu, select [Preferences]. On the [Setup] dialog box opened, select the [Event] tab. Then, configure a batch profile for the event assigned to the scanner button.

    [Event] tab
Select an operation to be executed when the [Scan] or [Send to] button is pressed.
    Event lists
This field lists the button names ([Scan] and/or [Send to (Function #)]) and their operations (Action) to be performed when the corresponding buttons are pressed.
Using this list, you can associate the functions (actions) assigned to the buttons to desired batch scan profiles.
The relevant profile is performed when the associated button is pressed.

    1. Select the action you want to perform by pressing the button.
The list of profiles appears in the drop down menu. Click the Do nothing, menu appears.
    2. Select a profile.
    3. Click the [OK] or [Apply] button.
    * To enable this function, select the [Start] menu ?[Control Panel]?[Scanners and Cameras], and then open [Properties] of the scanner to specify ScandAll PRO as an application to be launched when any event occurs.
In Windows Server 2008 or Windows Server 2008 R2, "ScandAll PRO" may appear in the [Properties] dialog box as the application to be launched when an event occurs, even when you first open the dialog box after installation of ScandAll PRO. As ScandAll PRO is not actually configured to be launched yet, click [OK] in the dialog box to apply your settings.
    * Once you use VRS, the settings specified in the [Event] tab of the [Setup] dialog box opened from the [Tool] menu will be disabled.
    * Registerable events vary depending on the scanner model used.
    * Some scanner models display the profile name, which was created in the event list, on their operator panel.
Note that the profile name is not displayed when:
    - The profile name is created in a language or created with symbols that are not supported by the scanner.
    - The profile name is longer than the maximum displayable character width on the operator panel of the scanner.

Hope the above information is helpful.

    regards,

    TechSatya

I receive an error F4 on my scanner when I turn it on. Will not scan. Any suggestions?

Hello Larry,

The F-4 error in Fujitsu fi-6240 scanner indicates Background change over unit malfunction alarm. It may be caused by the malfunction of background motor or optical unit or damaged optical cable.

You are recommended to contact the nearest Fujitsu scanner service center for rectification.

Thanks & regards,

Error code "L"

Hi,
Is the code display L-6? This error code describes US Sensor Alarm.
You may perform the following steps or may ask your local Fujitsu scanner expert for the disgnosys and replacement of faulty part.
1. Does the same symptom occur after turning OFF and ON the scanner? To check, press power button of the scanner for more than 2 seconds to turn it OFF, and after more than 2 seconds elapse, press the power button to turn the scanner ON.
2. Check the US Sensor operation by conducting Maintenance mode to see if the US sensor works properly. If the error still occurs, confirm that the sensor cable is correctly connected. And then replace the US Sensor FX and US Sensor RV.
Thanks & regards,

Machine will not scan, blue light only blinks.

I have had this problem before also. What I ended up doing was shutting down my computer, turning on the scanner opening it all up so you can load it and ensure it is hooked up to the computer, restart the computer, open the program itself but then scan by pushing the flashing button on the machine, not using the program. I am not sure if yours will work this way or not but good luck.

Scan snap won't work

This is a known problem with Fujitsu ScanSnaps. Some units experience the "blue button of death" meaning they no longer respond to waking the driver up when you press the blue button. Customer service is aware of the problem and if you are under warranty you should be able to get a new unit.

My ScanSnap has worked flawlessly for years. I just tried to scan and got the following message: undefined error occurred.(0xffffdcf7) Won't scan. Tried to reboot - no luck. Let me know...

The same thing happened to me. In a nutshell, you have to install new drivers. Have you recently upgraded your system to SnowLeopard or Lion? I did, and that's what went wrong.

To do:
1. Make sure you have the latest ScanSnap manager: http://www.fujitsu.com/global/support/computing/peripheral/scanners/drivers/mac.html
Install that.
2. Get the Lion update: http://www.fujitsu.com/global/support/computing/peripheral/scanners/drivers/mac-mg22.html
Install that.
3. Open the new ScanSnap Manager (v 2.2). Delete the old one from your dock, so you don't get confused.
4. Scan away.
