I have a SM Bus Controller issue in device manager. There is a yellow ? next to the device and I am having trouble resolving the issue.
SOURCE: I want to V2000 laptop driver.
First, Right click my computer, click manage, then go to device manager from the opened window.
Then, right click on your 5 specified components, and click update driver. this should automatically try to update them online.
Failing that.... the following is the long winded way of doing things!
This site should do the trick. look at the exact model number on the bottom of the laptop, it should say;
HP Compaq Presario
V20zzxx
[where zz is 2 numbers for the exact model number]
[where xx is 2 letters in lower case]
(you'll see what i mean when you click the link)
select the relevant link from here and click to download

SOURCE: driver missing
We had the same exact problem but with a Compaq Pesario V6000 series notebook. Ours had to do with the NVidia System Management Controller but was listed in the device manager as a coprocessor. Kind of a bland description.
Solution: Downloaded and installed NVidia System Management Controller from here. Hope this helps.
